In this role, you will be part of a Communication and Stakeholder Management team, working closely with program managers and project teams to support the successful delivery of infrastructure projects through effective communication, liaison, and community engagement.
About the Role
You will contribute to the efficient delivery of the program by developing high-quality communication and engagement materials that support informed decision-making and positive stakeholder relationships. Your work will ensure clear, consistent messaging to key external stakeholders, government representatives, and the broader community.
Key Responsibilities
* Research and analyse information to prepare high-quality written content, including briefing notes and correspondence, ensuring clear and consistent responses to stakeholders and the community.
* Develop and implement community engagement plans, including key messages, targeted engagement strategies, and supporting communication materials.
* Prepare a range of communication products such as media responses and releases, ministerial briefings, newsletters, flyers, display materials, and internal communications for senior management.
* Respond to media enquiries and draft media releases in a timely and professional manner.
* Build and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
* Ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and accurate management of program and project information in line with records management and governance standards.

* Demonstrated capability in preparing executive and government correspondence, including briefing notes, ministerial materials, and formal responses.
* Knowledge of issues and reputation management, with the ability to provide strategic advice that supports positive stakeholder relationships.
