Competitive salary and benefits
Salary between $40.22 - $46.91 per hour (AO2).
4 to 6 weeks p.a. recreational leave with 14-17.5% loading.
Generous employer contribution to superannuation of 12.75%.

About your opportunity
This role provides essential administrative and reception support across Joyce Palmer Health Service. You will manage phone enquiries, update medical records, assist with patient travel coordination, manage mail processes, and support clinical teams to ensure seamless service delivery for the Palm Island community.
Requirements
Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to work respectfully within a culturally diverse community.
Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling medical and patient information.
Competence using or willingness to learn key systems including HBCIS, ieMR and PTIMS.
Ability to manage reception, phone, mail and general administration tasks in a busy environment.
This is a VPD risk role.
The appointee must be able to source own accommodation on Palm Island.
The Administration staff usually provides service from 8:00am to 8:00pm Monday to Sunday. The successful candidate is required to participate in the roster covering these hours. During Public Health Concerns may be required to work evenings and nights on a rotating basis.
