Base pay range: A$109,093.00/yr - A$118,091.00/yr. Role type: Full time, Fixed term for 3 years. Faculty: Faculty of Business and Economics. Department/School: Dilin Duwa Centre of Excellence for Indigenous Business Leadership. Salary: UoM 7 109,093 - 118,091 p.a. plus 17% super. This role is within the University of Melbourne and is focused on community engagement and partnerships, with a commitment to Indigenous community leadership and engagement.
The Dilin Duwa Centre for Indigenous Business Leadership aims to advance Indigenous business leadership through research, education, and engagement, with objectives across research, programmes, and engagement to connect Indigenous people and their businesses with knowledge and networks.
Responsibilities
 * Coordinate Community Partnerships: Develop and manage strategic community partnerships, activities, and events to build strong relations and connections.
 * Implement Engagement Plans: Support the implementation of community engagement plans aligned with Dilin Duwa's strategy, manage risks and report outcomes.
 * Manage Resources: Allocate and manage resources effectively to support community programs and activities, ensuring timely contractor payments.
 * Create Engaging Content: Develop content for various communication channels to showcase Dilin Duwa\'s work to internal and external stakeholders.
About the role
Reporting to the Associate Director, the Community Engagement Manager is responsible for assisting in the successful delivery of the Centre\'s community engagement events, programs and initiatives. This includes resource allocation, supporting the program lead, providing administrative assistance, and helping to ensure operational success and communication of the Centre\'s engagement activities. The role oversees a diverse portfolio of programs, including regional workshops such as the Regional Business Series in various locations and any new Centre initiatives.

You may also have
 * A degree or relevant experience in a large, complex service-oriented environment
 * Excellent written and oral communication skills
 * Experience in developing and sustaining community relationships and partnerships
 * Track record in negotiating community engagement initiatives
 * High-level organisational and time management skills
 * Cultural sensitivity and understanding when working with diverse community groups
