We are seeking highly skilled administrators for an opportunity where no two days are the same. Central Highlands Regional Council is committed to developing its people. We are looking for 2 administration specialists to join our short-term staffing solutions team based in Emerald.
The 2 Roles Currently Available Include:
* 1 permanent full-time position
* 1 full-time position on a maximum term contract (until June 2026)
As a STSS Administration Assistant, you will support all council areas, moving between departments to assist with projects, peak periods, and leave coverage. Your proactive approach and administrative expertise will enable you to adapt quickly and diversify your skills.
Working With Us, You Will Have The Opportunity To:
* Provide diverse administrative support
* Prepare reports, agendas, and minutes
* Complete high volumes of data entry
* Analyze data for reporting
* Manage records effectively
* Handle procurement tasks, including obtaining quotes and processing invoices
* Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external parties
Minimum Requirements:
* Queensland C class provisional driver's license
* Significant administrative experience in a large, complex organization
* Flexible, resourceful, and positive attitude towards priorities
* Excellent communication skills
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
