Our
**Federal Government** client is seeking to engage a
**Program Manager** on a contract for 12 months with potential extension.
**Position Overview**
The
**EL1 Program Manager** position will lead a team in the maintenance and delivery of this exciting and fast-developing Agency's property strategy, and delivery of any associated fit-out and capital works.
The position is an important team leadership position within the Agency and will have delegated authority and responsibility to resolve issues and risks across wide-ranging activities of substantial depth involving significant detail. The
**EL1 Program Manager** will provide the leadership, control, planning, resource management, performance management and decision making for the team membership and assigned Contractors working within the Work Area.
The
**EL1 Program Manager** is responsible for initiating, establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. It may be required to represent and negotiate on behalf of the Agency to advance its interests in cross-agency, inter-jurisdictional and other forums.
**Responsibilities may include but are not limited to**:
- Planning, procuring, implementing and monitoring the Agency's capital works program.
- Ensuring the capital works program is conducted in accordance with relevant legislation, standards and associated fit-out guidance and accessibility practices.
- Ensuring that the capital works program is managed within budget and any probity, procurement and due diligence guidelines.
- Providing oversight and guidance on program governance including the development of project plans and the ongoing identification of risks and treatment options.
- Managing competing priorities while maintaining high work standards and accuracy.
**About You**
**experience overseeing a construction program** as well as project management including monitoring and overseeing end-to-end capital works, including planning, design, approvals, procurement, construction and handover, ideally in office accommodation fit outs.
