Become a Social Visits Volunteer who can make a meaningful difference - One visit at a time!
Are you someone who enjoys Latino music, getting your hands dirty in the garden, and taking walks in the great outdoors? We're looking for a Spanish-speaking mate to spend time with a friendly gentleman who shares these interests. He'd really enjoy some company for a chat, a stroll, or simply time spent outdoors. Visits are needed on Tuesday or Wednesday afternoons—perfect for someone who enjoys meaningful one-on-one connection and a bit of fresh air.

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.
HammondCare is an independent Christian charity and we're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need. We have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of people receiving care at Hammondville.
HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

Requirements
18 years or older • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare
We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a one hour visit between 12-5pm (Visits are needed on Tuesday or Wednesday afternoons—perfect for someone who enjoys meaningful one-on-one connection and a bit of fresh air), visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.
