Heavy Machinery Technician
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Machinery Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical repairs and maintenance, with experience working on heavy equipment such as earthmoving machines, generators, lighting plants, and boom lifts.
This is a challenging role that requires the ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical faults, as well as perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform regular maintenance and servicing of heavy machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operation.
* Diagnose and repair complex mechanical faults using diagnostic tools and techniques.
* Source and procure spare parts as required.
Requirements:
* Relevant trade qualifications or equivalent experience.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
* Experience working with petrol and diesel engines.
* Forklift and EWP tickets beneficial.
* Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
