Residence Operations Lead

The Residence Operations Lead will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of a 725-bed property, leading the residence-based team to cultivate positive and memorable experiences for students.

This key position is entrusted with ensuring the safety and security of assigned residents while meeting operational targets. The Residence Operations Lead will take overall responsibility for implementing strategies for property management operations, adhering to established policies and procedures, and driving operational excellence.

The main responsibilities include:

* Safety Compliance: Ensuring safety protocols are in place and promoting a positive safety culture.
* Maintenance Standards: Maintaining 100% compliance and high maintenance standards across the property.
* Service Provider Management: Managing third-party service providers and overseeing maintenance activities.
* Financial Performance: Driving financial performance, sales, and revenue growth.
* Operational Mobilization: Leading continuous improvement and operational mobilization initiatives.
* On-Call Duties: Fulfilling on-call duties during emergencies and collaborating with other managers.
* Marketing Strategies: Developing marketing strategies to maximize revenue and attract new residents.
* Budgeting Processes: Contributing to budgeting processes and managing sales training programs.
* Enquiry Management: Managing enquiries, inventory, and relationships with partners.
* Resident Engagement: Exceeding expectations and inspiring resident involvement.
* Team Leadership: Leading operational teams and encouraging growth and development.
* Training and Development: Providing training and collaborating with other managers to drive operational excellence.
* Maintenance Administration: Managing bond administration, staff rostering, and training programs.
* Performance Reviews: Reviewing and submitting invoices, conducting performance reviews, and managing maintenance activities.

About the Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional who possesses:

* Team Management Experience: Proven experience in team management within property management or student accommodation.
* Financial Acumen: Financial responsibility, including budget management and financial reporting.
* Project Delivery: A track record of timely project delivery and continuous improvement.
* Cultural Awareness: Resilience, adaptability, and cultural diversity awareness.
* Risk Management: Strong operational and risk management skills.

Desirable Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

* Real Estate License: A Real Estate License.
* Business or Hospitality Degree: A Business or Hospitality degree.
* Language Proficiency: Proficiency in additional languages.
* Diverse Markets: Experience in diverse markets or student accommodation.
