We are now seeking a **Logistics Assistant**to join our Perth team, who is prepared to work within our values of: Courage; Ownership, Collaborate, Integrity; and Innovate.

**About the Role**
This position is responsible for organizing freight movements to ensure they are executed in the most cost-effective manner and with the shortest transit times, supporting both the operations & commercial departments, and reporting to the Logistics Manager.
**Duties include, but not limited to**:
- Monitor inbound and outbound shipments
- Prepare and review shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other logistics partners
- Track shipments and provide status updates to internal teams and customers
- Maintain accurate records of shipments and transactions
- Assist in resolving shipping issues, delays, or discrepancies
- Support inventory control and warehouse coordination as needed
- Contribute to process improvements and cost-saving initiatives
- Adhere to company policies including the PCC Code of Conduct, Quality, and EHS Rules
- Perform other duties within skills, knowledge, and abilities as required by management
**About You**
To be successful in this role you should be able to demonstrate the following qualifications and attributes:
- 1-2 years of experience in logistics, import/export, or a similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP systems is an advantage
- Experience working with freight forwarders and customs brokers
- Familiarity with international shipping procedures and documentation
- Knowledge of Incoterms and shipping conditions
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Competencies in contract negotiation and logistics management
