As a key player in our team, you will have the opportunity to build on a well-established customer base with a focus on account management and business development.
You will be responsible for selling core and innovative products to a wide range of customers, including those in the distribution, fabrication, manufacturing, and construction sectors.
Some of the key responsibilities included in this role are:
* Developing and maintaining strong business relationships with key clients in the region.
* Creating and maintaining customer and competitor profiles, as well as developing growth and sales plans.
* Identifying, understanding, and developing customers and market offers to meet current and potential customer needs.
* Building and maintaining extensive market knowledge, including competitors, suppliers, industry trends, and products.
* Ensuring exceptional customer service and timely provision of quotations and responses to customer needs.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a proven track record of developing and influencing positive relationships with current and prospective clients and stakeholders.
You should also have sales experience preferably within the steel, mining, or similar industries - construction, engineering, or manufacturing.
Additionally, you will need to have strong financial and business acumen, as well as solid negotiation skills.
Highly effective communication and reporting skills are also essential for success in this role.
Experience using SAP or similar CRM systems and MS Office applications for planning and reporting is highly desirable.
A current driver's license is also required.
