Early Childhood Support Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children with disability or developmental delay, individuals with disabilities and their families.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct assessments for children 0-9 years.
* Provide short term intervention using best practice models and consulting with healthcare professionals when required.
* Assist the individual or nominated contact to develop, implement, review, and monitor their NDIS plans when a funded plan is appropriate.
* Maintain strong networks with community groups, organizations, government services, and service providers.
* Support families to implement plans and monitor their progress.
The successful candidate will work closely with individuals and families to build capacity and confidence to live a good life by setting their own goals, exercising choice and control over funded services, and engaging in mainstream and universal supports.
Key Selection Criteria:
* Demonstrated comprehensive assessment and planning skills.
* Proven experience working with children aged 0 – 9.
* Outstanding ability to provide early childhood supports and develop strategies in line with best practice.
* Ability to work within complex environments and be outcome focused.
