The Customer Service Administrator will be responsible for providing exceptional support to customers, ensuring a positive experience by delivering the highest standard of service. This role serves as the first point of contact for customers with enquiries about products, technical advice, quotations, orders and delivery updates.
Key Responsibilities:
* Offer technical product advice, pricing and availability.
* Process and manage quotes and orders efficiently.
* Process purchase orders for external suppliers in a timely manner.
* Follow up with supplied quotes to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Liaise with key stakeholders including customers, end-users, suppliers and area sales representatives.
* Liaise with production for schedules to advise customers of lead times.
* Resolve customer requests, questions and order variations effectively.
* Liaise with freight companies regarding deliveries.
Essential Criteria:
* Previous experience in Internal Sales, Sales Administration or a Technical Customer Service role is required.
* Proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite and an accounts, CRM or ERP system is essential.
* Accurate data entry skills with a high attention to detail are necessary.
* A proactive, organised and results-orientated approach to work is expected.
* Excellent communication skills are required.
* A strong technical aptitude or interest and ability to learn is desirable.
* A driver's licence is necessary.
* Unrestricted working rights in Australia are required.
Desirable Qualifications:
* Previous experience working in building, construction, engineering, warehousing or logistics is advantageous.
