BetterYOU Fitness is a locally owned and operated gym focused on delivering a facility people call their second home — a place members genuinely love showing up to, and where people feel supported and seen.
We pride ourselves on high standards and creating the best training environment possible. Many gyms say this, but you can usually tell within five minutes they don’t live up to it. We’re not those gyms.
As we continue to grow, we’re looking for leaders who want to help drive the next stage of the business.
About the Role
As Operations Manager, you’ll be the face of the club - driving results, creating a welcoming space for members, and leading with positivity and purpose.
This is a performance-based role suited to someone who enjoys targets, accountability, and growing a business.
Day In The Life:
* Managing all club operations, sales, retention & member experience
* Leading, hiring and training staff
* Building rapport with the team and members
* Creating daily social media content
* Running community events and local business outreach
* Hitting targets and KPIS (marketing, sales, retention, revenue, satisfaction)
* Managing operations and standards
About You
* Confident communicator and natural leader who stays level-headed and sets the standard for the team. Can handle a hard conversation.
* Comfortable with sales conversations and hitting targets, driving memberships and revenue
* Highly organised, proactive and reliable, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Able to build genuine connections with members and staff, creating a welcoming and supportive club culture
* Confident creating engaging social media content, including appearing on camera when needed
* Takes ownership and pride in the gym environment, maintaining high standards across the facility
* Able to motivate and lead a team focused on delivering great service, results, educating and real impact
