Job descriptionCasual Travel Consultant – Join a Friendly, Established Team
A busy and well-established travel agency is looking for a motivated Casual Travel Consultant to join our team. This role offers a minimum of 15 hours per week (approximately two full days), with additional hours available to cover staff leave as needed.
Candidates local to the Hornsby, Ku-ring-gai, or Hills Shire areas will be highly regarded.
About the Role
You'll be supporting our experienced consultants and assisting clients with a wide range of travel needs, including:
* Handling customer enquiries in person, over the phone, and via email
* Assisting senior consultants with reservations, bookings, and data entry
* Preparing and compiling travel quotes for clients
* Completing bookings accurately and efficiently across multiple systems
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
* Some experience in the travel industry (highly regarded)
* Experience using GDS and back-office systems (Travelport and Tramada experience preferred, but not essential)
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Excellent attention to detail
