Job Title: Nursing and Midwifery Recruitment Specialist
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced nurse or midwife to take on a pivotal role in overseeing the entire recruitment process for Registered Nurses, Endorsed Enrolled Nurses, RUSONs/RUSOMs, and healthcare workers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Planning and coordinating recruitment activities to ensure a consistent pipeline of skilled professionals meets the operational needs of the health service.
* Collaborating closely with nursing and midwifery leaders to ensure recruitment practices align with departmental requirements.
* Supporting staff transitions within the health service, including internal transfers, casual positions, pool placements, post-graduate programs, and other transition initiatives.
* Leading a team of recruiters and ensuring the implementation of effective end-to-end recruitment processes.
* Establishing and nurturing relationships with internal and external stakeholders to further strengthen the organisation's recruitment capabilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Experience in nursing or midwifery, preferably in a leadership or management role.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A strong understanding of recruitment principles and practices.
