In this pivotal position, you will be the key point of contact for Rail Systems Design, Signalling, Communications, and Train Control Systems.
You will lead the project from early client and market engagement through tendering and project delivery, enhancing the internal capability of DT Infrastructure to execute innovative Rail Systems design.Your designs will meet client standards while adhering to project budgets and timelines, ensuring constructability and compliance with the principle of as far as is reasonably practicable (SFAIRP) throughout the design lifecycle.Don't miss this fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact!
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop strategic alliances with suppliers and subcontractorsContribute to the strategic direction for the business unit in line with the DTI strategy, with appropriate contributions from relevant team membersConduct regular reviews against plan and budget, taking action required to ensure financial objectives are achieved
QualificationsMinimum of 10 years' experience with demonstrated experience in Signalling designMulti-disciplined experience across all Rail SystemsHave L2 or L3 QR Signalling design competencies preferableDomain experience with Queensland Rail or Aurizon preferablePrevious experience in a similar role is highly preferableBachelor of EngineeringTertiary qualification in Project Management - preferable
