With a growing national portfolio and strong momentum over the next four years, we're expanding, starting with Senior or an Associate Mechanical Engineer.What You'll Do As a Senior or Associate Mechanical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the continued growth and capability of our national Water Treatment team. We're looking for someone with a strong technical foundation, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to take ownership of outcomes. You'll be comfortable engaging with clients, leading packages of work, and guiding junior engineers — all while contributing to future‐ready treatment solutions across Australia.Work as part of our national, multi‐disciplinary water treatment team to deliver high‐quality project outcomesAssist and/or manage the scope, delivery, and day‐to‐day tasks across multiple projects of varying complexityProduce, review, and quality‐check clear, accurate technical documentation for both technical and non‐technical audiencesUndertake technical reviews, risk management and project management responsibilities as requiredApply relevant state and federal water legislation, industry standards, and treatment design guidelinesEngage with key project stakeholders — including clients, vendors, and partners — to support smooth project deliveryProvide technical input into proposals, tenders, and pursuits, supporting business development opportunitiesStay across emerging water and wastewater technologies, contributing innovative ideas to design, procurement, and deliveryParticipate actively in internal initiatives such as mentoring, training, and capability‐building programsRepresent WSP within the wider industry by contributing to committees, conferences, working groups, or technical papersAbout You You are a driven, solutions‐focused engineer with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines.
