Grace Children's Therapy is looking for a Human Resource Officer to manage the people and culture of the business and talent acquisition for the business. The HR officer will initially focus on developing sound and duplicable recruitment processes with the view of continually building the team. As an organisation, we focus on enriching the lives of children with a disability therefore, there is a large focus on finding energetic and passionate individuals with a growth mindset. It is our vision to provide outstanding customer service and client-centre therapy services to the community. We have been providing services to the Sydney Hills District for 15 years and based in Castle Hill (NSW) and plan to continue on the pathway of growing the organisation. It is anticipated as the team grows, the role of the HR Officer will gradually increase and develop.
**How you will spend your time**:
- Support and resolve a broad range of employee queries.
- Develop and update internal policies and procedures as needed.
- Collaborate and coordinate new graduate programs and qualified programs alongside team members. Working together with the executive team to deliver impressive new employee orientation, induction and onboarding processes.
- Prepare employment documentation, including contracts.
- **Management of the HRIS (HappyHR)**: ensuring all information is entered accurately and adherence to compliance obligations, that all mandatory documents are stored and updated as needed.
- Assist with developing the recruitment process and map out the workflow for smooth operation.
- Provide support with interpreting awards and industrial relations issues that may occur.
- As needed liaise with third parties providers eg. migration solicitor, OT Australia, HR consultancy agents, external third parties that work as an extension of the team.

As an individual who prides themselves on showing initiative, you will have a keen eye for detail and be committed to managing human resources and building the team.

- Resilience to change and demonstrated flexibility is paramount to your success in this role. You must be self-motivated, proactive and able to work autonomously.
**To be successful, you will have;**
- relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources
- a minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a HR generalist role in Australia
- demonstrate the ability to meet KPI and achieve positive outcomes.
- demonstrate the ability to build and nurture relationships.
- experience in working with online various platforms and technology
- a sound knowledge of employment legislation and industrial instruments.
- strong problem-solving skills; ability to manage ambiguity with an open mind and positive mindset
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 8 per week
**Salary**: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
