We are currently recruiting experienced HR Waste Collection Drivers to join a high-performing operation servicing major commercial contracts across Brisbane. The Role
You will operate HR waste collection vehicles on scheduled commercial routes throughout Brisbane, collecting and returning waste to depot while maintaining strict safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate HR waste collection trucks across Brisbane metro areas
* Complete commercial waste and skip bin collections
* Rear lift or front lift operation (depending on allocation)
* Conduct thorough pre-start and post-start safety checks
* Comply with NHVR driving hours and fatigue management
* Manual handling, including pushing and pulling bins
* Maintain professional conduct when interacting with the public and stakeholders
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
* Valid HR licence with a minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role
* Previous waste industry experience highly regarded
* Rear lift truck experience strongly preferred
* Proven commitment to road safety and safe work practices
* Ability to perform physical duties and work long night shifts
* Multidrop experience operating large vehicles
* Brisbane / South-East QLD route knowledge advantageous
* A professional, reliable attitude with strong work ethic
