Requirements
* Police Clearance required.
Skills and Attributes
* Empathy and understanding of people with disabilities.
* Positive attitude and strong communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
* Patience, reliability, and a genuine interest in building friendships.
Key Responsibilities
* Visit the assigned client monthly or bi-monthly for companionship at home and in the community.
* Independently assess and monitor the client's health and wellbeing.
* Report any concerns immediately to the Program Manager.
* Purchase and deliver birthday and Christmas gifts (if applicable).
* Submit visit reports within 7 days of each visit.
* Maintain client privacy and confidentiality.
* Submit a six-monthly expense report with receipts for reimbursement.
