Our client is seeking a skilled and licensed Trade Electrician to join their growing team in a full-time, permanent role. About the Role
As a Trade Electrician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical works across a diverse range of infrastructure. The role involves installation, maintenance, fault diagnosis, and commissioning, with a strong focus on traffic signal systems and associated equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs across a variety of infrastructure and equipment.
Perform comprehensive testing, commissioning, and verification of electrical systems to ensure full functionality and safety.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex electrical faults in a timely and efficient manner.
Install, service, and upgrade specialised systems including traffic signal equipment, controllers, wiring looms, and roadside hardware, with adaptability to PLC-based or similar control systems.
Ensure all works comply with electrical safety regulations, quality standards, and required documentation and reporting procedures.
About You
Recognised Electrical Trade Qualification.
Current Electrical Licence (mandatory).
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Experience in traffic signal systems desirable, though candidates with PLC or related control system experience are encouraged to apply.
Commitment to safety, quality, and delivering high-standard work.
Permanent full-time position with a stable, reputable employer.
Compressed 9-day fortnight or 4-day week option (8.5 or 9.5-hour shifts).
High overtime multipliers (1.5x and 2.0x).
