Full-Time

The Opportunity
This role forms part of our Sales Team that is dynamic, fast-paced, and guest experience focused. Joining some of the best and brightest people in the hospitality and events industry, you'll report directly to the
Head of Sales – MICE & Weddings
, where you will actively participate in coordinating and curating unique wedding, corporate, and social events experiences to deliver the Q signature service for our guests and local community.
Your primary focus will be on Weddings, with support for the MICE business as time allows.
Key Responsibilities
End to end organisation of weddings, conferences, and corporate events from event confirmation to post-event follow up.
Assist in the maintenance of events database of key contacts / clients.
Planning and distributing timely, detailed, and accurate banquet conferences & event orders.
Coordinating with relevant departments and department heads for planning.
Hosting client meetings and site inspections.
Attend Tradeshows to represent the Weddings and conference business.
Why you should apply
Proven experience in an admin focused role OR experience coordinating conferences & events with direct client contact.
You are hands-on, energetic, and able to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
You take a creative, yet practical approach.
Proven ability to work within a team environment where attention to detail is essential.
Experience and competency in using Event Management systems or Hotel PMS is advantageous.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and ability to develop strong relationships with team members, key contacts, and VIPs.
Maintain a current driver's licence.
Recent graduates with event experience are encouraged to apply Training provided internally.
