Sydney Shade Sails (NSW) Pty Ltd is a leading company in the Shade Industry of NSW, specialising in the design, fabrication and installation of shade structures and sails.
We offer varied work across greater Sydney and country NSW.
Our company is looking to employ a casual construction worker, skilled labourer, trade assistant or construction professional with the following attributes:
* Must be competent using ladders and working at heights
* Must be competent and experienced using power tools
* Be physically fit and agile
* Capable of working up to 40-50hrs a week.
* Be a good team player
* Be responsible, honest, neat and tidy
* Have a responsible attitude towards drugs, alcohol and workplace safety
* Ability to carry out basic tasks un-supervised
* Current White Card
* Current driver's license (LR License desirable)
* National Police Clearance
* Full PPE (hard hat, steel cap boots, work pants, Hi-vis shirts and jumpers, safety glasses)
You will be responsible for:
* Installation of steel columns, beams, rafters, steel fixings and brackets
* Installation of shade sails
* Excavation and concreting of footings
* Measuring of shade sails and structures
* General labour duties
Applicants must have reliable transport to travel to our factory in Riverwood, NSW.
On the job training will be provided.
The role would suit, construction professionals, skilled labourers, trades assistants, carpenters, builders, roof plumbers, handypersons, maintenance officers and fencers.
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $41.50 – $50.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
* Riverwood NSW 2210: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
* Construction & Extraction Occupations: 1 year (Required)
