*About The Podiatry Service
The Podiatrists at Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service (GCHHS) work alongside, Endocrinology, Vascular, Orthopaedics, Infectious Diseases, and Diabetes Educators. The Podiatry service provides treatment and management to clients at all GCHHS outpatient and community locations - this role will focus mostly on inpatient Podiatry services.
About Your New Role
You will work within a supportive and collaborative Podiatry team while partnering with a dynamic multidisciplinary team to deliver specialist care to high-risk foot patients. This role offers exposure to complex cases supported by world-leading research and cutting-edge technology, encouraging forward thinking and innovative practice. You will play a key role in advancing patient outcomes, while benefiting from ongoing professional development. This includes:
Coordinating the development of clinical practices, procedures and protocols
Delivering high level podiatry clinical and consultancy services for acute and unstable high-risk foot disease
Applying high level of professional judgement and problem-solving skills
Leading the development and delivery of health education and health promotion programs
Qualifications and Experience
Tertiary degree in Podiatry
Post graduate HRF Podiatry clinical experience is essential for this role
AHPRA Registration
Driver Licence
Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)
