Advanced Cardiac Care Opportunity

Seeking a distinguished Non-Invasive Cardiologist to lead the delivery of high-quality diagnostic and outpatient services in a state-of-the-art facility.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Cardiologist to join a dynamic regional service undergoing significant growth and transformation. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of cardiac care, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based patient care.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, a strong commitment to professional development, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient outcomes. They will be highly motivated, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

In this key role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the design and implementation of new services, participate in ward rounds, telehealth, outreach clinics, MDTs, and on-call rosters, and lead service innovation, clinical quality, and contribute to research and teaching.


About the Role

* Provide comprehensive non-invasive cardiology care across inpatient, outpatient, and diagnostic services.
* Work within a multidisciplinary team offering echocardiography, stress imaging, cardiac CT, heart failure services, cardiac rehab, and chest pain clinics.
* Participate in ward rounds, telehealth, outreach clinics, MDTs, and on-call rosters.
* Lead service innovation, clinical quality, and contribute to research and teaching.


Key Requirements

* MBBS or equivalent, eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
* Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in Cardiology, or equivalent.
* Subspecialty training in Non-Invasive Cardiac Imaging with Level 2 Adult Echocardiography accreditation (CSANZ or equivalent).
* Demonstrated CPD engagement and minimum echo volumes at Level 2 CSANZ competency.
* Academic/research experience.
* Highly desirable: Qualification in Cardiac CT and/or Cardiac MRI.
