Experienced Maintenance Duty Technician
* Full Time Salaried Position - Rotating Roster & Weekends are required
* Previous Maintenance/Handyperson experience required
* Shift times typically vary from 7am to 3pm and 11am to 7pm (based on business requirements
* Candidates may be required to complete a trial to demonstrate skills
This is a key role within the Resort where you will be responsible for ensuring a safe environment for all staff and guests.
As a Duty Technician, you will be responsible for the following:
* Undertake a large variety of maintenance and repair work, such as plumbing, plastering, painting, carpentry, aircon maintenance and much more (no two days are the same!)
* Collaborate with our Housekeeping and Front Office teams in responding to our guest maintenance related concerns
* Conduct routine inspections on all plant and guest facilities to ensure all required maintenance and repairs are attended to
* Utilise our Maintenance software (Opti) to track maintenance work and maintain accurate records of repair
* Help maintain a clean and tidy environment within the resort
* Assist with maintenance related projects within the resort
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
* Previous maintenance or handyperson experience required
* Trade background is highly regarded
* Be able to work a rotating roster; including days, evenings, weekends and Public Holidays.
* Has experience in a Resort environment (advantageous)
* Understanding of technical maintenance tasks and ability to problem solve
* Strong understanding of Workplace Health & Safety requirements
* Organised & executes tasks effectively and efficiently
* Positive attitude & passionate about delivering exceptional service!
* Has the ability to work both autonomously and within a team
