As a Manager, Business Development, you will play a critical role in driving Avanade's growth by identifying, shaping, and closing complex Microsoft‐led transformation opportunities. Your role will involve understanding client needs in the FSI / Commercial Sector and translating them into Avanade solutions. You will work across new and existing clients, collaborating closely with the Client Solutions & Practices teams, Microsoft, and Accenture to deliver measurable business outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
* Originate, qualify, structure, negotiate, and close consulting and managed services engagements across Avanade's Microsoft‐aligned portfolio
* Execute go‐to‐market and sales strategies within your assigned industry or territory to drive sustainable revenue growth
* Develop and manage a robust pipeline aligned to Avanade's sales methodology and forecast rigor
* Lead pursuits through the full sales lifecycle, from opportunity identification through to contract execution
Partner Closely With
* Client Solutions & Practices teams
* Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Sales Operations
* Avanade Client Account Leads (ACALs)
* Regional Sales Leadership
* Microsoft and Accenture alliance teams
* Translate complex client challenges into compelling, outcome‐focused solutions that demonstrate clear business value
* Build and maintain strong executive‐level relationships across client organizations and partner ecosystems
Skills and Experience
* Proven experience selling Microsoft‐centric consulting and managed services, ideally across cloud, data, AI, business applications, or digital transformation
* Strong understanding of complex buying environments
* Demonstrated success navigating multi‐stakeholder, multi‐department client environments
* Experience managing large, complex deals with long sales cycles
* Strong commercial acumen, pipeline discipline, and deal orchestration capability
* Highly organized, resilient, and effective across geographically distributed stakeholders
