Assistant Centre Manager
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Centre Manager to join our team at a Manifold Heights VIC location.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Centre Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring exceptional early childhood education and care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting the Centre Manager in leading and managing centre operations, policies and procedures
* Supporting the implementation of the educational program and ensuring it aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework
* Collaborating with the educational team to foster a warm, inclusive and engaging environment for children
* Maintaining strong relationships with families and the local community
* Ensuring a high standard of safety, cleanliness and compliance with all regulatory requirements
* Providing effective leadership, coaching and mentoring to the educational team
* Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to the centre's overall success
Requirements:
* Minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
* Experience in a similar Assistant Centre Manager or leadership role within the early childhood education sector
* Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and its implementation
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children, families and the team
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and lead by example
* Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the centre
* Passion for delivering high-quality early childhood education and care
* Confident in leading teams, mentoring staff, and maintaining compliance standards
