Job Overview
This role is part of a collaborative effort to drive business growth and profitability. You will support the HR Manager in leading the HR function, including:
* Developing and implementing HR strategies and projects
* Managing performance and leadership development initiatives
* Workforce succession planning and remuneration management
Additionally, you will oversee employee relations, budgeting, and cost control. Your key responsibilities include:
* Developing and updating HR procedures and practices in alignment with legislative requirements and industry best practices
* Collaborating with the Recruitment team on talent acquisition
* Preparing, reviewing, and approving HR documentation
* Communicating and providing ongoing advice on HR policies and procedures
As a key member of our team, you will lead investigations and disciplinary matters, partner with Line Leaders to provide ongoing HR advice and support, and facilitate community initiatives. You will also contribute to workshops and training in areas of HR and leadership for Yara leaders.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must have:
* A minimum bachelor's degree in HR or a related subject
* Proven experience in a senior HR role, preferably within the heavy industry or manufacturing sector
* Minimum 5 years of experience leading a team
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
* Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions to drive HR strategies
