Medical Practitioner Wanted for Addiction Medicine Role
The Victoria Mental Health and Substance Use program is looking to recruit a Medical Practitioner with expertise in Addiction Medicine. The successful candidate will be working part-time at the Coastal Sage Health Centre, which provides services to women and individuals identifying as women struggling with problematic substance use.
The key responsibilities of this role include providing medical care plans, routine follow-ups on OAT and AUD patients, pre-natal and postpartum care, consultations on contraception administration and STI diagnosis/treatment. Additionally, the practitioner will work closely with other physician groups including psychiatrists during weekly meetings.
