The Opportunity

The Faculty of Engineering is seeking an experienced Research Hub Manager to oversee the research, administrative and operational functions of the ARC Hub for Cyber-Farming for Sustainable and Resilient Agriculture.

Reporting to the Hub Director, the role manages strategic and operational activities including stakeholder engagement, governance, financial and resource management, compliance with ARC and University requirements, and continuous business improvement. The position works closely with the Hub Director, Deputy Hub Director and Theme Leaders to support the delivery, growth and impact of the Hub, while coordinating activities that enhance its research profile and public visibility.

The Research Hub Manager provides high-level strategic and operational advice to the Hub's senior leadership team and advisory committee, supporting effective decision-making and the achievement of the Hub's priorities.


About you

A postgraduate qualification at MBA or PhD level in a STEM discipline is desirable, as is experience within the Monash University ecosystem. You will bring demonstrated experience managing complex research initiatives and operating effectively at both strategic and operational levels.
