We're inviting Expressions of Interest for upcoming opportunities (casual seasonal work) to join Yates as a Help & Advice Horticultural Consultant — a key role that brings the Yates brand to life for gardeners across Australia.
What You'll Be Doing
Providing friendly, expert gardening advice to home gardeners and retail customers
Supporting consumers across phone, email, live chat, ticketing systems, and social platforms
Troubleshooting product questions and resolving concerns with warmth and professionalism
Maintaining high service standards and ensuring accurate, timely follow-ups
Contributing ideas and insights to our technical and marketing teams

What We're Looking for
Qualifications in Horticulture and experience in customer-facing environments such as retail, nursery, sales, or service
A friendly, professional manner and a genuine passion for helping others
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage challenging situations with empathy and calm
Confidence using Microsoft Office and digital communication tools
