We're inviting Expressions of Interest for upcoming opportunities (casual seasonal work) to join Yates as a Help & Advice Horticultural Consultant — a key role that brings the Yates brand to life for gardeners across Australia.
What You'll Be Doing
* Providing friendly, expert gardening advice to home gardeners and retail customers
* Supporting consumers across phone, email, live chat, ticketing systems, and social platforms
* Troubleshooting product questions and resolving concerns with warmth and professionalism
* Maintaining high service standards and ensuring accurate, timely follow‐ups
* Contributing ideas and insights to our technical and marketing teams

What We're Looking for
* Qualifications in Horticulture and experience in customer‐facing environments such as retail, nursery, sales, or service
* A friendly, professional manner and a genuine passion for helping others
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to manage challenging situations with empathy and calm
* Confidence using Microsoft Office and digital communication tools
