About the opportunity
Reporting to the 'Finance Manager, Retail Operations', you will be a trusted adviser to the General Manager of Retail Operations (and his leadership team), providing Business Planning & Transformation support to help achieve strategic and operational objectives. Success in this role depends on your ability to influence and improve management decisions.
You'll also
Develop business reporting metrics to ensure appropriate funding and meet stakeholder expectations
Collaborate with other Finance Partners to produce high-quality management reports (e.g., Revenue, BAU Costing, Investment Analysis, Budgeting & Forecasting)
Support stakeholders in driving revenue and business efficiency to meet targets
Assist stakeholders in key business decisions for optimal financial outcomes
Provide financial planning & analysis to support business planning processes
Offer financial modelling & advice for new product development and investment projects
About you
3-5 years' experience in finance-related roles
Membership in a professional accounting body (CA/CPA) or equivalent tertiary qualifications in finance or accounting
Knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards & Corporations Act, especially asset measurement and recognition
Experience with financial systems (e.g., TM1, SAP) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
