Job Title
The Group Engineering Manager plays a key leadership role in the Capital Works and Infrastructure department. This role is responsible for the daily operation and function of multi-disciplinary engineering and maintenance services.
This includes facility and asset management, utilities, reporting, compliance, management of contracts and resources, minor works projects, and interface with redevelopments and projects.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage daily operations and functions of multi-disciplinary engineering and maintenance services.
* Develop and implement strategies for facility and asset management, utilities, reporting, compliance, and contract management.
* Supervise personnel and resources to ensure effective project delivery.
* Cooperate with redevelopments and projects to achieve organisational goals.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications in Facility Management or extensive experience in Facility Management.
* Strong organisational skills, multitasking, meeting deadlines, and prioritising work in a high-volume healthcare engineering environment.
* Experience in engineering, maintenance and asset management including personnel/resource management, procurement, tendering and contract management.
* Proficiency with computer-based applications for activity, asset and finance management systems.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills in plant and building service activities.
* Trade background in electrical (LV/HV), mechanical, hydraulics and building services.
Requirements
* Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2).
* Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
