Responsibilities
* Conduct diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and repairs across a diverse fleet including fixed and mobile plant, specialised road surfacing equipment, and heavy haulage vehicles.
* Assist with the planning and delivery of scheduled shutdowns and other planned maintenance activities.
* Respond promptly to breakdowns and unplanned maintenance requirements.
* Conduct quality checks to ensure work meets required specifications and standards.
* Maintain accurate records and data entry across established systems and platforms.
* Work closely with Supervisors and internal customers to achieve project deadlines and production targets.
* Demonstrate a strong commitment to safe work practices and positive safety behaviours.
This is a great opportunity for tradespeople who enjoy variety in their day to day. You'll be part of a small yet supportive team and there will be a reasonable requirement for on-call, (after hours - on a roster basis as required).
About You
* Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (or equivalent).
* Demonstrated experience in general welding processes.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately.
* Valid Drivers Licence (Heavy Vehicle highly regarded) and White Card.
* Current tickets in Confined Space, Working at Heights and First Aid or willingness to obtain.
* A proactive and solutions oriented attitude coupled with strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices.
