About The Role
We are seeking a capable and driven leader passionate about delivering safe, high quality services and developing high performing teams.
In this role you will lead and support a team of Centre Supervisors across Glen Eira Sports and Aquatic Centre (GESAC) and Carnegie Memorial Swimming Pool (CMSP), ensuring operational excellence, safety and exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
* Team Leadership – train, mentor and lead the Centre Supervisor team in line with policies, procedures and industry guidelines.
* Roster Management – develop and manage complex staff rosters ensuring appropriate coverage and operational efficiency.
* Operational & Compliance Oversight – ensure that all Centre Supervisors meet legislative, safety, policy and service requirements.
* Cross Team Collaboration – work with Aquatic, Sports Programs, Customer Experience and Maintenance teams to coordinate programs and planned maintenance.
* Service Standards & Continuous Improvement – collaborate with other team leaders to enhance service improvement standards.
* Reporting, Budget & Performance Monitoring – track operational performance, maintain accurate records and provide insights for decision making, KPI monitoring and budget oversight.
Roster Requirements
The role includes direct service shifts as a Centre Supervisor, leading operations, responding to incidents and maintaining a safe environment for staff and patrons.
You will be rostered up to 15.2 hours per week of direct service, with remaining hours dedicated to administrative and leadership duties.

Qualifications and Experience
* Demonstrated commitment to organisational values and behaviours.
* Extensive customer service experience.
* Experience leading, training and developing staff.
* Strong dispute resolution and problem‐solving skills.
* Proven experience managing complex rosters and teams.
* Sound understanding of safety, risk and compliance requirements in a leisure environment.
* Current certificates: CPR, First Aid, Pool Lifeguard, Aquatic Technical Operator, Anaphylaxis and Asthma (or willing to obtain prior to employment).
