About the Role
We're hiring a QA Engineer with Hospitality & POS experience to test our platform end-to-end across service, guest ordering, and back-office workflows.
This role is ideal for someone who understands real venue operations and can validate that releases are production-ready for live service environments.
If you've worked in hospitality and constantly noticed things like:
POS flows slowing staff down
Printing failures during rush
Clunky split bills
Confusing guest ordering journeys…and thought "this could be done better" — this role gives you the opportunity to help fix it.
Key Responsibilities:
* Test POS and service workflows (dine-in, takeaway, delivery)
* Validate ordering → kitchen → payment → settlement flows
* Test guest journeys:
* Kiosk, Online ordering,
* QR pay-at-table,
* Split/group payments,
* Validate payments, refunds, tips, surcharges,
* Test KDS routing and printing
* Validate menus, modifiers, pricing, and tax setups
* Review reporting and reconciliation outputs
* Execute regression and exploratory testing
* Support UAT and release sign-off
About You -> You'll be a strong fit if you:
* Have hospitality industry experience
* Restaurant, café, pub, QSR, or similar
* Understand service pressure and workflows
* Care deeply about quality and usability
* Notice inefficiencies and operational annoyances
* Can explain problems clearly
Nice to Have:
* 4-5+yrs of QA Experience with testing POS or venue tech platforms
* Hardware testing (POS, printers, tablets)
* API testing tools (Postman, Insomnia)
* Automation testing exposure
* Delivery platform integrations
* Payments / PCI exposure
