* 12 month contract + 2 x 12 month extensions
* Remote working with travel 2-3 times per year to Canberra
* Must be an Australian Citizen – Baseline clearance desirable

The Role
We are seeking experienced Infrastructure Engineers with strong observability monitoring expertise to support a large-scale cloud environment within a Federal Government organisation. You will play a key role in configuring, supporting and uplifting monitoring capability across cloud platforms while working closely with technical teams to improve system visibility and operational performance.
Your duties will include:
* Managing and supporting observability monitoring solutions across cloud environments
* Configuring and supporting Dynatrace, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, AWS Config and Azure Monitor
* Leading incident response activities and supporting root cause analysis
* Developing monitoring standards, procedures, documentation and operational guidance
* Supporting broader cloud infrastructure services including AWS S3, backups and RDS environments
Skills and Experience
* Experience in Dynatrace, Amazon CloudWatch, CloudTrail, or Config, and Azure Monitor
* Strong experience across AWS, Azure or Google Cloud platforms
* Deep understanding of observability concepts including metrics, logs and traces
* Experience designing and implementing alerting and monitoring solutions
* Scripting and automation capability using Python, Bash or PowerShell
* Experience with Kubernetes and Docker environments
* Ability to train, mentor and support technical teams
