Job Description
We are seeking skilled and motivated Instrumentation & Control Technicians to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for a wide variety of works including construction, completions, commissioning, testing and fault‐finding of electrical and instrumentation systems and equipment. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong problem‐solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
* Strong instrumentation background and experience.
* Strong proven experience within construction/commissioning and start‐up of electrical systems and equipment.
* Conduct functional and performance tests to ensure systems meet specifications.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise and in a timely manner.
* Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to ensure successful project completion.
* Document test results, prepare reports, and maintain accurate records.
* Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Qualifications / Experience
Mandatory
* Electrical License (WA)
* Cert III/IV Instrumentation
* Construction White Card
* Ability to pass a pre‐employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
Highly Advantageous
* Cert IV EEHA (within 5 years - desirable)
* High Risk Licences (Please specify)
* HV Switching/Jointing
* Previous FIFO experience
* Excellent problem‐solving and analytical skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proven Experience in the Below Sectors
* Oil & Gas Experience
* Power Plant Experience
* Gas Turbine Experience (highly regarded)
* Infrastructure Experience
* Proof of right to work in Australia
* Ability to meet additional project‐specific requirements
