About The Role
We're seeking an experienced, Registered Nurse to join our Care team in a Permanent, Part Time capacity, at LDK's newest, premium village Amberfield. Working alongside the Clinical Lead, you'll provide a high level of effective and holistic individualised nursing care by using a problem-solving approach for planning, delivery and evaluation for each resident, whilst acting in ways that respect the dignity and privacy of all. You will supervise Personal Care Assistants on shift, providing them with clinical leadership whilst role modelling the LDK values of Love, Decency and Kindness.
Looking for an RN with night shift availability, Monday to Thursday, 10:30pm to 7am.
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver direct and comprehensive nursing assistance to residents with high care needs, including Dementia and Palliative services.
- Promote and deliver a holistic approach to care, focusing on the needs and rights of village residents and/or community clients (as required) in accordance with Consumer Directed Care (CDC) principles.
- Provide comprehensive, safe and effective evidence-based care to achieve identified individual health outcomes.
- Provide education to village residents oriented towards the promotion of health improvements.
- Provide support, direction and education to shift care team (Personal Care Assistants) including newer or less experienced staff.
- Promote and contribute to clinical governance and quality management across LDK Healthcare policies, procedures and systems.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills
- Current Registration with APRHA as a Registered Nurse. You will be required to renew and maintain AHPRA registration on an ongoing basis as a condition of employment for this position.
- Demonstrated skills in complex wound management, chronic disease management, medication administration, continence and/or palliative care.
- Demonstrated competence in the provision of contemporary nursing care including medication management, clinical assessment and relevant documentation.
- Relevant experience working in the Aged Care or Community Care setting (Desirable)
- Ability to use technology relevant to the delivery of nursing/care services.
