Automotive Technician
Goulburn Motor Group is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Automotive Technician to join their successful team in Shepparton, Victoria. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mechanical servicing and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional results.
The role involves performing routine maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrications, and engine tune-ups to ensure vehicles are running smoothly and efficiently. Additionally, the technician will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various mechanical issues using computerized diagnostic equipment and factory-supplied tools.
Key Responsibilities:
* Test and diagnose mechanical systems and components
* Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrications, and engine tune-ups
* Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues using computerized diagnostic equipment and factory-supplied tools
* Identify and report any safety hazards or defects
* Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients
* Maintain accurate records and reports of work completed
Requirements:
* Minimum AQF Certificate III in Automotive Light Vehicle Technology
* At least 3 years of relevant experience working on Ford, Honda, Volkswagen, Audi, Jaguar, LDV, and Land Rover vehicles
* Experience working with Asian and Intercontinental automotive models
* Knowledge of hybrid and electric vehicle technology
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to lift, bend, and move heavy objects
