Offer description

Make Someone's Week– Join Our Volunteer Team at Erina or Woy Woy Residential Care.

Looking for a warm, meaningful way to spend part of your week? The HammondCare Volunteer Program invites you to bring joy, connection, and companionship to older people living on the Central Coast.

Whether you're into sports, art, gardening, pets, baking, yoga, music, movies, or simply enjoying a chat over coffee—there's someone who would love to share that moment with you.

As a Weekend Volunteer Social Visitor, you'll spend time one‑on‑one or in small groups, creating genuine connection and heartfelt moments that brighten the day for residents… and often for you too.

A small part of your weekend can make a beautifully lasting difference in someone's life.

*Please note: Volunteer interviews and Orientation must take place on a weekday during business hours.*

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

HammondCare

HammondCare is an independent Christian charity and we're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need. We have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of the clients cared for by HammondCare.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
