Job Vacancy – Proposal & Tender Writer (Full time)

OzArk Environment & Heritage are seeking expressions of interest for the role of Proposal and Tender Writer.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Proposal & Tender Writer to lead and support the preparation of comprehensive proposals, tenders, and capability statements. This role is critical to our continued growth and will work closely with senior management, technical specialists, and project managers.
This position is both challenging and rewarding. You will be a proactive and detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Core tasks will include
* Develop and prepare proposals using the input obtained from within the organisation and the client in a concise and logical fashion
* Ensure the information provided complies with the specifications of the quoting brief
* Complete all supplementary documentation required for the proposal/tender
* Client liaison and sourcing of further information as required
* Lead the preparation, coordination, and submission of proposals and tenders (EOIs, RFTs, RFQs) across government and private sector clients
* Develop clear, persuasive, and compliant written content tailored to client requirements and evaluation criteria
* Coordinate inputs from technical staff and subconsultants, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and quality
* Manage proposal schedules, prioritise and execute multiple tasks to multiple deadlines
* Maintain and improve proposal templates, CVs, and project descriptions
* Ensure branding, tone, and messaging align with the company's values and market position
* Identify opportunities to improve win rates through lessons learned and continuous improvement
* Depending on workflow and quoting needs at the time, this position will be backfilled with general administration duties as required

To apply for this position, you must have
* Proven experience writing proposals and tenders (or similar), ideally within environmental, engineering, planning, or professional services consulting
* Exceptional written communication and editing skills
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple submissions concurrently
* Experience interpreting tender documentation and evaluation criteria
* High attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Possess strong skills in computer applications including word processing, data entry, spreadsheets, and Outlook
* Demonstrated ability to work without close supervision in a team environment
* Excellent customer service and client management
Desirable
* Familiarity with NSW government procurement processes
* Understanding of environmental consulting services
