As a Speech Pathologist, you will have the chance to work with both adults or children, making a meaningful impact on their communication and swallowing needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients of varying ages.
* Provide evidence-based therapy and interventions for speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
* Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, psychologists, and physiotherapists, to ensure holistic care for clients.
* Educate clients and their families about communication strategies and therapy goals.
* Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in accordance with practice policies.
* Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to a positive team culture.
Qualifications:
* A recognised degree in Speech Pathology.
* Current registration with the Speech Pathology Association of Australia (or equivalent).
* Experience working with both adults and children is preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to apply.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
