This is a rare opportunity to shape a critical business unit that supports our mission of empowering people with disability across Tasmania.As the Senior Property and Fleet Coordinator, you'll manage all property-related contracts, financials, and compliance obligations—ensuring our Specialty Disability Accommodation and non-SDA assets are protected, accessible, and aligned with NDIS requirements.
You'll lead strategic planning, oversee acquisitions and capital works, and maintain clear separation between tenancy and support services.
This role supervises one direct report and collaborates closely with finance, operations, and external stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesLead strategic and operational management of Multicap Tasmania's property portfolioOversee SDA income streams, leases, RTAs, and service agreementsEnsure compliance with NDIS Practice Standards and tenancy legislationManage property-related budgeting, forecasting, and financial reportingMaintain governance structures separating property operations from service deliverySupervise and mentor property and fleet staffConduct internal audits and risk assessmentsQualificationsTertiary qualifications in Property Management, Business, Law, or related fieldMinimum 5 years' experience in property or contract managementStrong leadership, financial acumen, and stakeholder engagement skillsDeep understanding of SDA funding and NDIS compliance (desirable)Experience in the disability or community services sector (desirable)Current driver's licence and WWVP clearance
