Overview
WA Specialised is seeking an experienced Mechanical tradesperson to join our team in Port Kennedy, WA. This full-time position will involve the Construction and Installation of Mechanical equipment and Pipework within the water industry.
Based in Perth / Peel Region
Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety procedures
Australian-recognised Trade Certificate in the relevant field
Capable of following directions while also working independently when required
At least 2 years' experience in your trade with a strong mechanical background, preferably within water treatment, utilities, or industrial environments
Dependable, punctual, and strong work ethic
Full Australian working rights (citizen, permanent resident, or unrestricted work rights)
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team environment
Current White Card (Construction Induction Card) – mandatory
Highly Regarded (Not Essential)
Confined Space, Working at Heights, or other relevant industry certifications
Rigger and/or Dogman tickets
Elevated Work Platform (EWP) ticket
Excavator Operator ticket
HDPE Pipe Welding Tickets
Key Duties & Responsibilities
* Provide general Trade support across the site as required
* Attend toolbox talks and actively uphold site safety standards
* Install Pipework and Mechanical equipment.
* Assist in daily site operations to ensure efficient and continuous performance
* Carry out mechanical Installation and Construction on water related assets.
