Warehouse operatives play a crucial role in ensuring seamless order fulfillment. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for selecting and packaging orders, receiving and dispatching stock, data entry, and other warehouse duties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Picking orders from designated storage locations
* Operating a LO order picker (valid license required)
* Receiving & Dispatching Stock: Ensuring timely receipt and dispatch of goods
* Data Entry: Completing all paperwork and updating records
* Stock Movement: Relocating stock and materials within the warehouse
* Manual Handling: Lifting and carrying stock as required
* Packaging and Labeling: Preparing stock for dispatch
* Other Warehouse Duties: Performing various tasks as assigned
Requirements:
* Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
* Previous experience in similar roles within a warehouse or picking/packing environment
* Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks
* Unrestricted working rights in Australia: Availability to work 38 hours per week
* Occupational Health and Safety awareness and emphasis on safety in the workplace
* Good communication skills: Verbal and written
* Current Order Picker (LO) license: Mandatory requirement
The successful applicant will possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. Previous warehousing experience and full working rights to work in Australia are desirable.
