Technical Support Specialist
Bytewize is seeking experienced IT professionals to fill contract and ongoing employment positions within the Department of Education. Successful candidates will provide technical support services through the Technical Support to Schools Program (TSSP). With over 25 years in business, Bytewize has been a long-standing panel member of the TSSP.
This is not an entry-level position. Candidates must have at least 5 years' industry experience, including previous experience within the TSSP program or equivalent corporate industry experience.
The selected candidate will manage IT infrastructure within Department of Education schools. Key responsibilities include administering school network and server infrastructure, providing ICT support services to staff and students, and managing enterprise networks.
Required skills and qualifications include:
* Experience with Windows and Apple devices on an enterprise scale.
* Knowledge of Hyper-V virtualized server environments.
* Familiarity with various Windows and Linux servers.
* Management of cloud services (Google and Microsoft).
* Mobile Device Management administration and deployment.
* Enterprise network administration skills, including Cisco and HP switches.
* Administration of Cisco wireless network technologies, including controllers and access points.
* Excellent communication skills.
