Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, this role will manage and oversee our two-shift bottling plant operation and personnel.This role is responsible for driving performance on the production floor at our Salisbury South facility, whilst also ensuring HS&E and HACCP requirements are met. Critical to their success will be the incumbents’ ability to lead successful teams to achieve technical specifications and production KPI’s.Key responsibilities include:Create and maintain a safe working environmentAssist in implementing and managing Quality, Food Safety and GMP standards across production areas and teamsNavigate between tactical ‘day to day’ operational challenges and propose continuous improvement initiativesBuild capacity in all operators to improve their skills base using SOPs and systemsUse critical thinking to influence performance positivelyConduct regular Production team meetings to review performance and identify improvementsCollaborate with maintenance to resolve issues quickly using Lean toolsIdentify and lead continuous improvement opportunitiesImplement training and capability development for front line teamsYou will bring demonstrated leadership in a complex, fast-paced environment, with strong technical expertise and a strategic mindset focused on continuous improvement. You should excel at collaborating with operational staff to drive successful outcomes.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ISO systems, hands-on HACCP and GMP experience are required.
