About the Role
ACA seeks a detail-oriented acoustic consultant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to continue your career in acoustics working on diverse range of projects including hospitality, residential, commercial and infrastructure developments.
The right applicant will be passionate about acoustics have engineering or science degree and a minimum of 4 years track record in environmental and/or building acoustics.
Responsibilities and Requirements
* Ambitious and driven individual with 4 years experience in Acoustics.
* Tertiary qualification in Acoustics Engineering Environmental Science Physics or related discipline.
* Passion for acoustics environmental noise and building design.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word Excel etc).
* Experience with acoustical specialist environmental noise software like SoundPLAN Cadna iNoise relevant Australian Standards Building Codes and Environmental Noise Guidelines.
* Knowledge and experience with acoustic measurement equipment sound level meters and vibration meters.
* Current driver's license site work required.
* Interest in business development.
* Desirable coding/scripting/programming writing skills AI tools aware for data analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage your projects from start to finish supported by senior consultants.
* Conduct environmental and building noise measurements using specialised equipment.
* Prepare technical reports noise impact assessments and support documentation for planning approvals.
* Acoustic modelling and data analysis.
* Undertake site inspections liaise with clients councils and other stakeholders.
* Contribute to the design of noise control and acoustic treatment solutions.
* Support senior consultants in project delivery project administration and client management.
* Assist with proposals quotes and tender preparation.
